Yes, that sounds right Richard. I know I was at your place on September 11, since I have some dated text messages that I sent on the drive up, so the fob must have disappeared on a different day that week.
I have narrowed it down to September 9. When you were here, I wasn't focused on the fob because it only became an issue when it reappeared in the garbage disposal. Till then it was just routinely lost.
I am looking back through my emails, and you visited the week the fob disappeared but not the day because I hung out with Quinn Miller all day before he returned to Oregon. It reappeared on September 15 and was missing six days, so it may have been September 9 that it disappeared and I got confused about the anniversary of the World Trade Center attack.
Thank you for this posting. Since 2008 my shoes have been disappearing and then reappearing days later, always in a location that is very easy to see. The first time this happened, I was in North Carolina and had bought a new pair of sandals. When i went to put them on, they were nowhere to be seen. Like you, I looked everywhere, under beds, in closets, in my car. I even went back to the store and asked if I had left them (knowing I hadn't. I gave up after searching extensively for 2 days. On the third day, I woke up and found them on the floor next to my bed. Since then, it has happened several times. So far, my keys and wallet remain safe.
I rambled on in my comment to your May 22 interview with Keith Thompson (that included mention of apports and UFOs), wondering whether interaction took place in Substack comments (which would have required me to focus more sharply in any subsequent comment) but there was none.
Btw: For those unfamiliar with The Scole Experiment who prefer books to videos, there is a book of that name by Grant & Jane Solomon. I'm not aware of any books documenting the activities of Marcello Bacci and friends; in that case there's no choice except to watch an Italian documentary with English subtitles found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEWNvd-voa8 . (Bacci owned a radio through which the dead allegedly spoke, even after vacuum tubes were removed from it; the documentary also includes a number of apports.)
What do your misadventures with fobs and ipads, the coins mentioned, the apports experienced during the Scole Experiment and shown in the Bacci documentary, a great number of reported apports found in Victorian Spiritualist literature, and no end of UFOs/UAPs and who knows how many additional examples of objects mysteriously disappearing and appearing throughout history -- not just physical objects but also living people, whether a Victorian medium or a patient of Dr. John Mack, an "abductee" -- suggest to me?
I'd say the explanation is somewhere in or near the realm of Bishop Berkeley's philosophy (referred to by others as "subjective idealism") and/or the "you create your own reality, individually and en masse" teachings of Seth, channeled by Jane Roberts from 1963 until her death in 1984, in which each individual continuously creates a unique space continuum, details of material objects within it shared telepathically with others, a concept that is very difficult to validate (and Ms. Roberts and Seth were not scientists, not engineers, and definitely not philosophers of science in an academic sense -- the Seth material is weak when it comes to technical details).
In other words, your fobs and iPads were never quite as you imagined them.
They existed as thoughts but thoughts you perceived as "matter" only before they vanished and after they reappeared.
So perception is one key here, but that's a huge area all by itself. Perception, physics and the nature of reality, telepathy -- this topic of apports is not so simple.
What about the "trickster" aspect you and others mentioned? Who and what is the trickster? Why has it singled you out? What is your relationship to it? We can add in identity (and probably consciousness) to the growing list of pertinent areas.
Do we have a personality somewhere who has toiled away for years in some academy, gaining degrees and credentials (and, more importantly, understanding) in the history and philosophy of science but one who is also familiar with trance mediumship (or "channeling"), the teachings of Seth-like beings (possibly the teachings of his or her own entity -- and that's another area that must be included, that of "soul or entity", "greater self," or whatever you wish to call it)?
If so, it's long past time for that person to write and publish a critique of modern science. This will require re-examining fundamental assumptions.
But even after radically "adjusting" these to enable the creation of a credible explanation of reality that can cope with apports (and related areas deemed unfathomable, even unacceptable to those adhering to present explanations) any such critique will also have to explain just how it is that present explanations seem to work so well when it comes to no end of technological applications.
I'm sorry to have rambled again, and I didn't even include the Buga Sphere.
Hi Richard, I concur with Laura Aversano's explanation that the Little People are involved--or at least in the cases that I know of personally. My friend Susan and I had a number of Little People experiences, and so I attribute the last, an apport, to them:
I gave Susan a Navajo silver/turquoise bracelet. To my surprise, she never worn it but set it on the coffee table where we had pipe ceremonies 6 or 8 times a year. I went to visit her one evening in Dec. 2023. It was on the table. She was having trouble breathing and I said I'd be back the next day to help her. I was the last person to see her alive. Darn, I thought to myself, I'd like to get that bracelet back now that she's dead. In August 2025 I was cleaning out an old truck at the back of my lot. Just had the brakes repaired so I hadn't driven it for two years. At the bottom of the mouse poop and junk, on the floor, was the bracelet. I'd never heard of a dead person apporting something. Several friends attributed it the the Little People.

Richard— The key fob disappeared the same day I came to visit you and Lindy (9/11/25)! Did it disappear before I arrived or after I left?

Thanks for an article on this subject.
